According to reports, Mulayam Singh Yadav, had reached the Gurugram hospital and arrangements were being made to airlift the body to Lucknow.
“The death of Mulayam Singh ji’s wife is extremely saddening. I feel for the family at this point. May Lord Ram help the soul attain moksha and strength to the family to bear the loss,” chief minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted.
“Just received the sad news of the demise of Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh ji’s wife. I pray for peace to the departed soul and may God give the family strength to bear the loss,” UP deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya tweeted.
Akhilesh Yadav is overseeing the arrangements and the details of the last rites will be finalised soon, party leaders told PTI.
