Raghav Chadha (born 11 November 1988) is an Indian politician and member of the Aam Aadmi Party. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board and an MLA from the Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency in Delhi.
Raghav Chaddha has been nominated as a member of the Rajya Sabha from Punjab after his party won 92 out of 117 seats in the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections held in March 2022. He is also a practicing chartered accountant.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha on Monday thanked party boss and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, as well as new Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann, for his nomination as a Rajya Sabha MP. “I have come to file a nomination for Rajya Sabha.
I want to thank Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann for nominating me at such a young age,” Chadha, 33, told news agency ANI. He said that he if elected to the Upper House, would raise issues concerning the people of Punjab and protect their interests.
Chadha, a Delhi MLA, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, and IIT-Delhi professor Dr. Sandeep Pathak are among the AAP’s Rajya Sabha picks, as is Ashok Mittal, the founder, and chancellor of Punjab’s Lovely Professional University.
Voting for 13 Rajya Sabha seats will be held on March 31, with five vacant in Punjab, three in Kerala, two in Assam, and one each in Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Tripura.
Delhi chief minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal in a message asked the new state ministers to perform or perish as Bhagwant Man continues to enforce the government’s anti-corruption agenda.
Punjab this month became the second state where the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP is in power; the party won 92 of 117 seats to defeat the ruling Congress. Bhagwant Mann took oath as chief minister last week in a grand manner at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, in Nawanshahr district. Just after AAP’s victory in Punjab, cricketer Harbhajan Singh had congratulated Bhagwant Mann on Twitter.
Victory in Punjab is set to give AAP a big boost in numbers in the Rajya Sabha. Currently, AAP has only three MPs in the Upper House. Meanwhile, the BJP bagged the rest of the four states – Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Goa in the recently-held assembly elections.

Raghav Chadha was born in Delhi on 11 November 1998. He completed his schooling at Modern School Barakhamba Road, Delhi. Currently, he is a politician from Aam Aadmi Party, also a chartered accountant. He is 33 years old as of 2021.
He did his B.com from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. After completion of one year of his graduation, he opted for correspondence as he wanted to start his preparation for Chartered Accountancy. Later on he went to London School of Economics for further studies.
Raghav Chadha Career
On 21st March 2022, it was announced that Delhi MLA Raghav Chadha along with four others was nominated by AAP for a six-year term in Rajya Sabha starting 2022.
During the 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly election when AAP won with a majority, Raghav Chadha was appointed as AAP’s national treasurer.
In April 2018, Rajnath Singh terminated his appointment as an advisor to Sisodia along with 9 other advisors.
In 2019, he contested the South Delhi Parliamentary Constituency in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He lost in the elections to the BJP candidate, Ramesh Bidhuri.
In February 2020, he contested from the Rajendra Nagar in the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly election and won against BJP’s candidate RP Singh.
Later, he was appointed as vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and assigned the water portfolio in the Delhi Government.
As a leader of AAP, he was appointed AAP Punjab co-in-charge for the Punjab Legislative Assembly election.
