Mollie Elizabeth King (born 4 June 1987) is an English pop singer and a member of girl group The Saturdays.

As part of the Saturdays, King has had 13 Top 10 and eight Top 5 singles, including the UK number-one hit “What About Us” on the UK Singles Chart and five top-ten albums on the UK Albums Chart.

Before The Saturdays, King was a member of another girl group, Fallen Angelz, with whom she appeared on The X Factor. In 2015, King signed a solo deal with Island Records.

England cricketer Stuart Broad and broadcaster Mollie King have announced they are expecting their first child.

King, who presents on BBC Radio 1 and is a member of pop group The Saturdays, posted the news on her Instagram account.

The post included an image of Broad, who plays for Nottinghamshire, kissing her baby bump.

The pair, both 35, announced their engagement in January 2021, having dated since 2012.

King said in her post that she and Broad were “absolutely over the moon”.

Broad shared the same image from his own Instagram account, writing: “Mollie & I are thrilled to be expecting a baby at the end of the year! Exciting times ahead!”

Born in Wandsworth, London on 4 June 1987, Mollie initially dreamed of a career on the ski slopes. The athletic youngster’s prowess resulted in her being picked for Britain’s junior ski team and receiving a scholarship to the National Ski Academy.

Talking about the risks involved with her choice, Mollie said: “I finally stopped professional skiing when I was 17.
