Margaret Cho was born on 5 December 1968 in San Francisco, California, U.S. into a Korean family. In the year 1994-95 she worked in the ABC sitcom All America Girl which is her first show by working in it she became an established stand-up comedian in subsequent years.
In 1999, she wrote about her struggles in her first woman show which was I’m the one that I want. It won New York magazine’s performance of the year award and in Entertainment Weekly the show was named one of the great performances of the year.
Margaret Cho also wrote an autobiography of the same title at the same time.
