Who is Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa?
Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa is 21 years suspect in the Boulder shooting, killing 10 people, in the horrific shooting the officer was killed fatally, now Ahmad is charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder. According to the report, his real name is Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa who is a resident of Arvada, Colorado. Earlier, his identity was not available but on March 22nd the suspect’s name was revealed, on March 22, 2021, Ahmad entered King Soopers supermarket and opened fire at innocent civilians.
Boulder police officer, Eric Talley who was 51 years old arrived at the scene, but he was fatally shot by Ahmad. Now, the suspect has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and has been taken into custody, and was being treated for unconfirmed wounds.
Digging through his Facebook profile shows the posts with quotes from the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, he will be soon appearing at the Boulder County jail to await court proceedings. During an exchange of fire, Ahmad suffered a gun wound and was transported to a local hospital, according to the report he’s now in stable condition.
In an Interview with The Daily Beast, Ahmad’s brother Ali Aliwi Alissa, 34 said that his brother Ahmad was very anti-social, also he revealed that in high school he felt someone is chasing him and someone is looking for him, he said. Later, Ali admitted that his brother was mentally ill, he said “When he was having lunch with my sister in a restaurant, he said, ‘People are in the parking lot, they are looking for me.’ She went out, and there was no one. We didn’t know what was going on in his head.”

Al-Issa was born in Syria in 1999. His family immigrated to the United States in 2002, and he has lived in Arvada since 2014. Al-Issa’s older brother said that Al-Issa has a history of paranoid, disturbed, and antisocial behavior. Al-Issa was arrested in 2017 for punching a classmate at Arvada West High School after the classmate insulted him weeks earlier. Al-Issa pleaded guilty to an assault charge in relation to the incident and received two months of probation in addition to 48 hours of community service.

Talking about his education, he attended Arvada West High School and was a member of the wrestling team, then he enrolled at Metropolitan State University in Denver and graduated with computer engineering. As of 22, Ahmad had prospective graduation which he mentioned on his Facebook page.
Ahmad was into wrestling and MMA, on his Facebook profile he showed his love towards Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is a retired professional mixed martial artist. In March 2019, Ahmad won 2 gold medals at the naga jiu-jitsu tournament, then he took to Facebook and wrote “Alhamdullah I Got 2 gold medals today won in both divisions in the naga jiu-jitsu tournament.”
2021 Boulder shooting
On March 22, 2021, a mass shooting occurred at a King Soopers supermarket in Boulder, Colorado, United States. Ten people were killed, including a local police officer. Several other officers were injured. The alleged shooter, Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa, was wounded in the leg by police and transported to Boulder Community Health Foothills Hospital before being moved to the Boulder County Jail.
